COVID POLICY - Updated August 2022

Since 2017, Mojopolis LLC has been hosting exclusive destination retreats in Colorado and Mexico for men who are ready to completely their natural mojo and create the kind of life and relationship that they truly desire.

Our top priority has always been the safety and well-being of our retreat participants and the staff who cares for them. In response to the ever shifting health crisis we have been facing, we have needed to keep current with our health and safety protocols, booking, and cancellation policies.

All Retreats Will Be Held As Planned Unless Travel Restrictions Are Reinstated

Our plan is to continue with all scheduled retreats in 2022-23. We continue to monitor any new developments and guidelines for health and safety and will keep any participants informed of any changes.

Our deposit, payment, and cancellation policies are designed to serve both our clients and the facilities we work with.

Please note we reserve the right to change these policies without prior notice. We appreciate your understanding during this unpredictable and unprecedented time.

Is Vaccination Required To Participate?

We have decided to not require vaccination as a prerequisite for participation in our retreats.

You will, however, be required to sign an assumption of risk affidavit which we will email to you in order to attend:

COVID 19 / CORONA VIRUS ASSUMPTION OF RISK

  1. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and that Mojopolis LLC cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending the Confident Man Ranch Retreat or Mastering Your Mojo Mexico Retreat and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death.
  2. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Confident Man Ranch Retreat or Mastering Your Mojo Mexico Retreat may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Mojopolis LLC and/or Sylvan Dale Ranch employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families.
  3. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance at the Confident Man Ranch Retreat or Mastering Your Mojo Mexico Retreat.

    I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Mojopolis LLC, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any COVID-19 infection that occurs before, during, or after participation in the Confident Man Ranch Retreat or Mastering Your Mojo Mexico Retreat.

What Happens If the Retreat Itself is Canceled Due To Travel Restrictions?

If Mojopolis LLC, Sylvan Dale Ranch, or any other facility is forced to cancel or postpone a retreat due to travel restrictions, we will offer a transfer to another retreat or a refund. Mojopolis LLC cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets, due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.

What If I Get Sick And Need to Quarantine?

We will follow policies and advice of the local authorities and will assist you as much as possible. Mojopolis LLC is not responsible for additional costs due to quarantines and/or medical sickness. Travel Insurance (see below) may help address additional costs that may incur as a result of sickness and mandatory quarantine.


Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation, up to 60 days before the retreat, you can receive a full refund of your deposit or your full payment if applicable. If you cancel less than 60 days prior to your retreat start date, 100% of the deposit or retreat payment will be forfeited. If you wish to rebook for a later date, we may at our own discretion offer a small good faith discount at that time.

Retreat Transfers


You may request to transfer your reservation to a different retreat up to 60 days before your retreat start date. The new reservation must occur within 12 months of the original retreat. If there is a difference in the new retreat fee, we will contact you about a charge or refund.
Only one retreat transfer is available and must be requested via email up to 60 days before your initial registered retreat start date. Any retreat transfers requested within 60 days of the initial retreat start date cannot be granted, no exceptions.


Travel Insurance - Should You Buy It?

Life can be unpredictable and these days things can change rapidly, especially when it comes to travel. The best way to protect your investment in a retreat is to purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance will often cover cancellations due to illness or injury, medical bills incurred while traveling, and costs associated with unforeseen trip delays.

Buying a plan can be a smart move if you are feeling cautious about the cost of your trip, possible illness or injury, or potential weather-related cancellations or interruptions. Travel insurance can also help reimburse you for pre-paid events (like a retreat!) that you would lose if you needed to cancel your trip.

NOTE: To receive the full benefit of travel insurance, it often needs to be purchased within 14 days of booking your retreat (not from the date of your retreat).

Cancel For Any Reason Policy

Like any insurance, there are rules and exclusions for certain types of claims. There is, however, a type of coverage called “cancel for any reason.” With this high-end coverage, the insurance company will reimburse 50-75% of non-refundable expenses if you need to cancel your retreat.

Where Can I Get Travel Insurance?

There are a lot of choices for coverage:

Airlines often partner with insurance companies to offer protection to their passengers.

You might be covered in some ways by your homeowner’s insurance.
Some credit cards offer travel insurance as part of the membership perks.
